ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — The President and CEO of the United Way of Ross County will be stepping down at the end of June.

Rich W. Smith, Sr., has served in the capacity since 2019 and cites personal reasons for his decision to leave.

“I have loved my time in Ross County and owe a great thanks to the Board of Trustees and the community,” Smith said. “I will espsically miss the outstanding staff and volunteers of Ross County.”

The Board of Trustees will appoint an interim CEO after Smith’s departure until a permanent hire can be made.
