RICHMOND DALE, Ohio — A portion of route 35 was restricted Tuesday night after a crash involving a U-Haul.
The accident happened along the highway, westbound, just East of Richmond Dale at around 8:45 p.m.
Initially, reports said a man was suffering a seizure in the accident, but once medics arrived, the man declined medical treatment.
The U-Haul was pulling a car-hauler trailer that was loaded with an SUV. During the crash, the SUV slid partially off the trailer, causing heavy damage to the vehicle. The U-Haul box truck struck a bridge and sustained heavy frontend damage, as a result.
The second vehicle involved suffered minor damage.
The names of those involved were not immediately released.
