CHRISTINE ELAINE “CHRIS” LINDSEY, age 71, of Sabina, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, June 14, 2021. Her death was sudden and unexpected.

She was born on January 9, 1950 in Clinton County to John Clifford and Bertha Olive (Irvin) Lindsey. She was a 1968 graduate of East Clinton High School. Chris attended Circleville Bible College now Ohio Christian University; she graduated in 1976 from Mount Carmel College of Nursing. She began her nursing career at Mount Carmel West in Columbus; and was then called to the Southwest Indian School in Peoria, Arizona. After returning home, she continued her nursing at Clinton Memorial Hospital and retired after 20 years of service from the University Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. Chris was a faithful member at Heritage Memorial Church. Her joy was teaching 4th and 5th grade Sunday School Class and loving the children at the Rose Avenue Community Center. She also enjoyed traveling and being with her family.

Chris was preceded in death by her parents and brothers-in-law, David Huff and Bill Ammonette.

Survivors include her siblings, Beverly (Clarence) Kidder, Judith (Joe) Lane, Marjorie Huff, and John (Ann) Lindsey. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of dear and special friends. She will be greatly missed.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, June 21, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Church, 1867 Old US 35 NW, Washington CH, OH 43160, with Rev. Tom Young and Pastor Justin Siler officiating. Family and friends may visit at the church on Monday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. In keeping with her wishes, cremation will take place following services.
