WILMINGTON, Ohio — The Storm Prediction Center has placed parts of the Scioto Valley under an enhanced risk for severe weather, Friday. According to the SPC, an enhanced risk means there is the possibility of widespread severe weather.
According to the National Weather Service in Wilmington, storms Friday will have the potential for damaging winds, large hail, and even a few spin-up tornadoes. The NWS stated that flash flooding will also be a major concern.
