SCIOTO VALLEY, Ohio — Several hundred people are without power as storms barreled through the region on Friday night.
Heavy winds and rain caused power lines to break, as trees and limbs fell to the ground. More than 1,000 customers in Ross, Highland, and Fayette counties were without power. All three major power suppliers to the area said they were working diligently to restore services. A restoration time could not be given by the companies.

HIGHLAND COUNTY:
- 623 South Central Power customers
- 145 AES customers (Old DP&L)
FAYETTE COUNTY:
- 3 AES customers (Old DP&L)
