Steven Allen Gibbs

Steven Allen Gibbs, 68, of U.S. Highway 23, Piketon, Ohio, passed 4:15 a.m. Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at OSU Wexner Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio.
He was born July 27, 1952, in Dayton, Ohio the son of the late Clifford Ward Gibbs and Arminta Kathryn (Boggs) Stewart. In 1972, he was united in marriage to Janet (Wilburn) Gibbs, who survives.
Also surviving are four children, Steveonne (Wayne Swetnam) Gibbs, Albert (Anita) Gibbs, Joseph Gibbs and Ashley (Annie) Gibbs, seventeen grandchildren, Mindy (Cody), Kelsey (Andrew), Morgan (Terry), Kalen (Cassie), Zachary, Layla, Destiny, Andrea, Jase, Meagen, Taylor, Alisa, Haley, River, Tayson, Renee and Adam, fifteen great-grandchildren, two brothers, Joseph Gibbs and Jeffrey Stewart and five sisters, Carolyn Keaton, Beverly Blair, Sherry (Leonard) Gault, Kimberly (Chuck) Harris and Penny Gibbs.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Diane Russell and Paula Barton.
Steven was a retired truck driver and attended Anchor of Hope Church of God of Waverly, Ohio and Prospect Church of God, Cleveland, Tennessee.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 21, 2021, at Boyer Funeral Home, Waverly with Pastor Donald Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in Gardner Cemetery, Waverly, Ohio.
Family will receive friends 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday, June 21, 2021.
