According to a press release, agents discovered the drugs after their canine hit on a shipment of blankets heading to Georgia.
Agents said four blankets were found packaged together with nearly twenty-pounds of meth inside.
Cincinnati Port Director Richard Gillespie said, “Our officers excel at connecting the dots and identifying and disrupting transnational networks of all kinds of illicit trade, whether it be intellectual property rights infringements, narcotics or agriculture violations, or enforcing numerous partner agencies’ regulations.”
