CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Former Chillicothe native, and Hall of Fame nominated songwriter Jerry Salley, released his new music video this week. Jerry returned home to film the video for his single called, “I Take The Backroads.”
According to Salley, the song is a personal account of his many memories of cruising the local dirt roads of Ross County.
Jerry was nominated for a Grammy in 2019 for producing the multi-artist project, “Gonna Sing, Gonna Shout.” Salley has written songs for some of the biggest names in country music including Toby Keith, Chris Stapleton, and Reba McEntire.
