ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — Ross County deputies responded to a call about a creature inside a man’s vehicle near Crouse Chapel Road and route 23 on Sunday.
According to the man, he abandoned his vehicle along the roadside after a “creature freaked him out.”
Deputies found the man, who told them that that a person had also jumped into the back of his pickup and was hitching a ride.
The deputies on scene searched the vehicle and surrounding area for the invisible hitch-hiker, and the terrifying creature. Neither were located.
Police went on to cite the caller for driving under suspension and the vehicle was impounded.
