ROSS COUNTY. Ohio — According to the Chillicothe Police Department, Ross County is experiencing a 9-1-1 outage. Law Enforcement officials said this is not a complete outage. It appears that area residents are experiencing problems with certain cell phone carriers.

Officials say, if you call 9-1-1 and experience a interruption or disconnect, to call the main phone numbers for police. If residents reside within the city limits, you should call 740-773-1191. When talking to the dispatcher police say, specify which service you are in need of. If residents reside in the county, you can call the Ross County Sheriff at 740-773-1185.

According to reports, administrators are currently working to rectify the problem.
