CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Justice Pat DeWine is set to visit Chillicothe, Monday, June 28. This visit is part of his continuing efforts to educate the public on our legal system, his office said on Friday.
DeWine was elected to the Ohio Supreme Court in November 2016.
“Our court system is often the least understood branch of government. I think it is important as judges that we go out and talk to people about what our courts do, and why it matters,” said DeWine.
The presentation is set to be held at the Chillicothe Country Club, around noon, and will focus on civic education and how the Ohio Supreme Court operates.
Justice DeWine serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Cincinnati College of Law. He previously served as a Court of Appeals, and Common Pleas Court Judge.
