ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — A small child lost a finger Wednesday evening in Chillicothe.
It happened while the 2-year-old was visiting Union Scioto Local Schools along Egypt Pike.
According to officials, a medical helicopter was called to the school to fly the child to Children’s Hospital in Columbus.
The events leading up to the amputation were not immediately released.
