ROSS COUNTY, Ohio- — A Ross County woman is in jail after law enforcement said she made a fake 9-1-1 call that had deputies and troopers rushing to the scene.
Jessica L. Pasco, Londonderry, was arrested for calling 9-1-1 and saying that she was being held hostage by a man with a gun, deputies said, and allegedly went on to tell dispatchers that she feared for her life.
According to reports, deputies and troopers rushed to a house on Cotterman Lane in Londonderry around 5 a.m., Saturday.
Law enforcement was surprised when they arrived to find no evidence of an abduction or hostage situation.
Deputies spoke with Pasco who, eventually confessed that she made up the entire incident, lying to dispatchers, deputies said. She was arrested and transported to the Ross County Jail.
