David Wesley Richards, age 74 of Lynchburg, passed away Saturday evening July 3, 2021 at his home. He had been a resident of Lynchburg for five years. He was born February 10, 1947 in Waynesville, the son of the late John W. and Betty (Gould) Richards.
Mr. Richards was a proud veteran of the United States Army having served in Vietnam.
He is survived by sons Rob Richards, Brent Richards; daughters Karey Jane Richards, Stephonney Davis and Katherine Dawn Richards; ten grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; as well as siblings. He was dearly loved by his family.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. There was no visitation.
