Richard Douglas Fenwick, 82 of Ashville, OH passed away at home on August 4, 2021. Dick was born on February 2, 1939 to the late Paul Munson and Ruby Bell (Rhodes) Fenwick in Dayton, OH.
Dick was a 1957 graduate of Troy High School and attended Miami-Jacobs Career Community College in Dayton. He served in the U.S. Army from January 1962 to January 1964 and retired from the City of Dublin having worked in Horticulture projects. He was a member of Dawes Arboretum, obtaining a Master Gardener certificate. He was a member of various Land Rover Clubs and the David Brown Tractor Club.
Besides his parents, Dick was preceded in death by an infant son Ted.
Dick is survived by his wife of 55 ½ years Judy E. (Maxwell) Fenwick; sons Nolan Fenwick and Ben Fenwick, both of Grove City; sister Sharon (Bill) Severt of Troy; brother-in-law Steven (Debra) Maxwell; 2 nieces and 2 nephews.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, August 9th at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville 43103. A Private Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held at the convenience of the family at Maple Grove Cemetery in Alexandria, OH.
