CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — A man who died over the weekend in Chillicothe was possibly murdered.
Detectives and BCI agents are investigating the death of Rex Knisley. The 67-year-old was found dead inside a house on East Main Street on Saturday.
Law enforcement said the house where Knisley was found had forced entry, consistent with a burglary, and that the man’s car was stolen. The vehicle was later found and a person-of-interest has been identified, police said.
Knisley’s body was sent for an autopsy after it was reportedly inside the home for at least two days before it was found.
The suspect’s name was not released because no formal charges have been filed.
