DAYTON, Ohio — With the spread of the Delta Variant and the rise of COVID-19 cases across Ohio, today the Nan Whaley for Governor campaign announced that it is requiring all current and future campaign staff to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
“No one wants to go back to lockdowns and closures, and the COVID-19 vaccine is the way we can avoid that. Everyone on our campaign interacts with Ohio voters every day, and we owe them the confidence of knowing we’ve done everything we can to protect them. That’s why we’re requiring all current and future staff to receive the vaccine,” said John Hagner, Whaley for Governor Campaign Manager.
“Once again Mayor Whaley is leading by example to help stop this deadly pandemic and prevent future lockdowns and closures. She calls on the other gubernatorial campaigns, both Republican and Democrat, to do the same.”
