WILMINGTON, Ohio — The Storm Prediction Center has placed the Scioto Valley under the risk for severe weather.

According to the National Weather Service, storms are expected during the afternoon and early evening hours.

Meteorologists say high winds and localized flooding will be the primary threats. NWS added that an isolated tornado or two cannot be ruled out.
