CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — A tractor-trailer fire temporarily blocked the northbound lane of route 35 in Chillicothe, Monday evening.

The incident happened around 9:30 p.m. near the Main Street exit.

According to the Ohio Highway Patrol, a semi was piggybacking another along the northbound lane when a fire started from the rear of the truck.

Fire crews from multiple townships responded to the scene to battle the blaze.

The highway remained opened and there were no injuries.
