SCIOTO COUNTY, Ohio — The Scioto County Prosecutor says two former Children Services caseworkers have been charged with child endangerment.
In court records obtained by the Guardian, Lisa Thomas, 56, Wheelersburg, and Renee Ginn, 54, Garrison, Kentucky, were indicted by a Scioto County grand jury on multiple child endangering charges, tampering with evidence, and tampering with official records.
Thomas and Ginn were reportedly assigned to the Dylan Groves and Annabelle Greene cases. Both children were killed by their family members after being placed in their custody.
Dylan was the infant child of Daniel and Jessica Groves, who has been convicted for the child’s death. Dylan was killed after Jessica Groves hit him multiple times in the head, reports say.
An autopsy showed that Dylan suffered skull fractures, broken ribs, a broken arm, and a broken shin bone.
His body, according to prosecutors, was found at the bottom of a 30-foot well near the parent’s home.
