CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Chillicothe Police are investigating, what residents say, was a drive-by shooting.
Around 10:30 p.m. Chillicothe Police responded to the area of Pohlman Road and West Fifth Street.
According to neighbors near the scene, several gunshots were heard. Police set up a wide perimeter around the crime scene. Detectives with the Chillicothe Police Department searched the area looking for bullet holes and casings.
A nearby neighbor told the Guardian that she had heard “several gunshots and squealing tires leaving the scene.”
The exterior of several homes and vehicles were checked by police. No suspects have been named in the incident, and the case remains under investigation.
