CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — A monument company in Ross County has held their grand opening after a couple years in operation.
Chillicothe Monument, located at 72 North Walnut Street, cut the ribbon on their retail location on Wednesday.
Chillicothe Monument opened for business in February 2015. Owned by Eric Gunnoe, Justin Long, and Dave Strickland, the trio said they feel that honoring a loved one after death is just as important as the respect you give someone while living.
“A monument is a respectful personalized image for a deceased loved one that all can see,” their website reads.
Many cemeteries have rules and regulations, but Chillicothe Monument is versed in what those rules might be.
The company invites the public into their location to preplan or even, to fix, repair, or replace existing stones.
