CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio — Pickaway County law enforcement prevented what could have been a deadly situation.

The Circleville Police Department received a 9-1-1 call about a man wearing camo who had a backpack and gun inside the security fence at the HealthCare Logistics facility on Town Street.

In response to the incident, the facility went on “emergency lockdown.”

Teddy Vanhorn II, 46, was located by police near the security fence adjacent to Walnut Street.

It was reported that backup officers gained entry to the area while police held Vanhorn at gunpoint. In the grass near where Vanhorn was found, police said they found a Ruger .22 caliber rifle.

Teddy Vanhorn was taken into custody without incident and is currently being held in the Pickaway County Jail on multiple felony charges.
