CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — A man was killed Friday night after crashing his motorcycle in Chillicothe.
It happened along Bridge Street in front of the paper factory just before midnight.
When medics arrived, the man was found thrown from the bike and laying partially in the median. His motorcycle slid 150 feet down the road before resting.
Medics attempted life saving efforts but they were not successful.
No other cars were believed to have been involved, according to police, but the accident remains under investigation.
Bridge Street was closed between Southern and Eastern Avenues as crews worked the scene.
