CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Parts of downtown Chillicothe were without power Saturday morning. According to officials with Amerian Electric Power, nearly 1,400 people were in the dark

Representatives with the power company said crews were dispatched to the scene. The cause of the outage was not immediately released.

A preliminary restoration time of 10:30 a.m. was given, and power was restored shortly after that time.

Law Enforcement encourages residents to treat all intersections with non-working traffic lights as a four-way stop.
