CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Chillicothe Police say a man was assaulted as he walked home with his son on Wednesday.
The victim told police that a black Ford F-150 pulled alongside him as he and his son walked near East Fifth and South Hickory Streets.
Police say that the victim recognized the truck as belonging to his neighbor, Adam Moore. The victim told police, Moore and another man, Noah Richards, jumped out of the vehicle and attacked him.
According to reports, Richards allegedly used bricks and a shovel in the attack.
Law enforcement officials say an arrest warrant has been issued for Richards. Officers reported that the victim did not suffer any serious injuries in the incident.
No further details were immediately released, and the case remains under investigation.
