HARRISON TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A local township fire department has received a generous donation of more than 3,600 cans of water.

The cans of water were donated by Anheuser-Busch after Lieutenant Gregory Campbell and Lieutenant Johnathon Fyffe applied for a grant to have the cans donated.

Campbell was at the fire department to receive the water, which was delivered by local distributor Classic Brands of Chillicothe.

“This water is a tremendous help for the men and women of our department,” said Campbell. “We will use it to stay hydrated at scenes and to assist other area departments who might need drink.”

Harrison Township Fire and EMS is an all-volunteer department who has an operational levy on the ballot this fall for the first time in its 50 year history.
