CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — A Pike County man is wanted after police report that he allegedly gave chase after not renewing his license plate, and for ramming into a cruiser.
Officer said that Cole Fite, 28, has warrants for his arrest after the Saturday night chase.
The vehicle was trying to be pulled over for expired license plates when Fite ran, police reported. The chase began on East Main Street and went to Lincoln Park, where the white Kia Soul hit a patrol car twice, according to officers.
Before officers could get back into position to continue their pursuit, Fite reportedly escaped and took off toward Pike County, where he’s from.
Warrants have have been issued for his arrest, and no officers were injured in the crash.
