ROSS COUNTY, Ohio– Ross County Sheriff Deputies were dispatched to Graves Road overnight. A 9-1-1 caller said someone was shooting a gun out of a car window near their home.
According to reports, the property owner saw a gray, four-door vehicle traveling towards Dry Run Road and another vehicle, a white, four-door car, traveling toward Marrietta Road.
The homeowner told the Guardian that there were “six to nine rapid-fire shots.” He went on to say that he did not believe they were shooting towards his house but into the nearby woods.
Authorities canvassed the area for the suspects but were unable to locate them.
“I’m ok, and so is my mother, who lives next door,” said the homeowner.
The incident, officials say, remains under investigation. No further details were immediately released.
