ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — A fatal crash closed down route 23 near the Ross and Pike counties line on Wednesday.
It happened in the 3000 block near Debord Road just after 3:30 p.m.
Three vehicles, including a semi were involved, troopers said. It all started after the semi made an improper lane change, causing another car to spin out of control, cross four lanes of traffic, and get hit by an oncoming SUV, troopers said.
Roger Beach, 71, from Crestline, Ohio, was killed in the car that spun out of control.
Two other people were hurt and taken to local hospitals.
