ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — Dispatchers from the Ross County Sheriff’s Office received a call Sunday concerning a possible shooting at the Backroad Pub (formerly the Hiawatha Bar) in Massieville.
Sheriff’s deputies responded to Fleet Street in Chillicothe to speak with the caller.
According to witness statements, a male subject had “pointed a gun at several bar patrons and then fired the gun in the air.”
Authorities say they are still investigating the alleged shooting. Those with information are asked to contact the Ross County Sheriff’s Office.
There have been no arrests in the incident.
