DAYTON, Ohio — After attempting to solicit nude images from young girls while a registered sex offender, Sean T. Porter, 56, of Moraine, Ohio, was sentenced to twenty years in prison, with a lifetime supervised release.
Between October 2020 and January 2021, Porter, authorities say, created several fake online accounts using the names Sean and Mike.
An investigation found that Porter communicated with 52 individuals who were as young as 11 years old. The FBI reports he sent 26 pornographic images to minors. In addition, authorities say he asked the young girls for sexual content.
Officials say an undercover FBI agent posing as a minor female was contacted by Porter. He reportedly asked the agent to provide him with nude images.
On Valentine’s Day 2021, Porter pretended to be a teenager and sent a video showing him engaging in sexual activity.
U.S. Attorney Vipal J. Patel said Porter committed these crimes while under federal supervision following a 10-year sentence for a previous offense.
