SCIOTO COUNTY, Ohio — A woman was arrested in Portsmouth after her parole officer, along with law enforcement found guns and drugs on her.
According to law enforcement, officers paid a visit to Crystal Collier’s house along route 139 in Portsmouth on Monday. Upon a search of a bag inside the house, officers found two handguns, one of which was loaded, and clear baggies of suspected meth. Additionally, parole officers located a black lockbox, which was locked. Collier was arrested by the Ohio Adult Parole Authority.
Detectives from the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office and the Portsmouth Police Department seized the backpack and the contents for possible criminal charges. Detectives obtained a search warrant for the lockbox. Inside, they found 33 grams of suspected meth, digital scales, and other drug paraphernalia within the lockbox.
Collier was booked on multiple charges.
