ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — A man was arrested early Saturday morning after deputies said he was burglarizing a local gas station.
It happened just before 4 a.m. at the Railway Express Marathon along Pleasant Valley Road in Chillicothe.
Law enforcement were called to the business after the alarm company picked up the sound of broken glass after hours. Once deputies arrived they found Robert Block, 30, who was running away from them. That’s when they deployed their Taser to apprehend him.
A manager arrived on the scene and said that the alarm company called her and that she turned on the security cameras and could see a car parked near the drive-thru stealing cigarettes.
An ambulance was called to the scene to check Block, who was transported to the jail.
