CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Deputies said they are investigating a theft after a man left $18,000 in a car console and had it stolen.
Police reports say that a Chillicothe man who works at a local car dealership called the Sheriff Tuesday morning. According to the report, the man drove home one of the dealership’s cars and left $18,000 in cash, along with a handgun in the center console. When he went back to the car in the morning, the cash and gun were gone.
Deputies documented the incident.
