VINTON COUNTY, Ohio — A Vinton County man ran from police after officers discovered he had an active felony warrant.
Police in McArthur were investigating a theft complaint when the suspect took off leading officers on a brief foot chase.
Brice Mash, 20, was being detained by police when it was discovered that Mash had an active felony warrant. Officers said that is when he took off on foot.
Authorities were able to run down Mash and place him in custody. According to reports, suspected narcotics were also found on him. Mash was transported to the Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail on his felony warrant.
Officials say additional charges may be forthcoming.
