CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Police are investigating the break-ins of several vehicles at Shawnee Lanes in Chillicothe.
According to reports, officers responded to the bowling alley after receiving calls about several vehicles that had been damaged and items inside stolen.
Officers arrived on the scene and spoke with the manager, who said a suspect driving a white 90s model Chevy Cavalier had pulled up alongside multiple parked vehicles. The driver of the car was described as wearing light-colored pants, white tennis shoes, a dark jacket with a hood, gloves, and a mask over their face.
Surveillance footage provided by the owner showed the suspect looking inside the vehicles and then forcefully busting out the windows. Three vehicles in total, officials say, were damaged, and items inside were stolen.
Police say the suspect involved in these break-ins is also believed to have been involved in a similar incident at the Coughlin Automall.
There have been no arrests made in the case, and it remains under investigation.
Anyone with information on these thefts is asked to contact the police department.
