CINCINNATI, Ohio — A Cincinnati man was sentenced to 100 months in prison and 10 years of supervised probation following a child pornography conviction.
According to the U.S. Justice Department, Ryan J. McConnell, 31, was arrested by federal agents in December 2020 following a lengthy criminal investigation.
Officials with the DOJ said McConnell’s criminal activity was discovered when undercover FBI agents discovered McConnell through a group called “Toddlers.” Members of the group distributed hundreds of videos and images of child rape.
A search warrant was executed for McConnell’s phone by federal agents. Federal authorities said images on the phone depicted very young boys engaged in sexual conduct while wearing diapers.
Over the last ten years, Ryan McConnell sought employment as a babysitter, posting dozens of ads on sittercity.com, care.com, Craigslist, and others.
