ROSS COUNTY, Ohio— An inmate at the Ross Correctional Institution in Chillicothe has been charged with murder.
According to the Ohio Highway Patrol, 35-year-old Darryl King, originally from Eaton, killed a fellow inmate on February 14.
In a report, obtained by the Guardian, King allegedly struck the other inmate, multiple times, resulting in his death.
Court records show that King has a history of violence including, assault and multiple counts of felony domestic violence.
He had just finished a three-year sentence when he was arrested yesterday and charged in connection with the inmate’s death.
The patrol says, the case remains under investigation and no further details were immediately released.
