ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — An apparent threatening incident on Tuesday had deputies looking into a woman with a shotgun.

It happened along Kreisel Road when a man said he was driving to work. As he passed a house he said a woman made “an obscene gesture” toward him, which made him turnaround and go by the house again. He told deputies he passed the house and saw the woman on the porch, making the same gesture a second time.

Taking it upon himself, deputies reported the driver circled around and drove by the property a third time. This time, reports show that a man was standing on the porch with the woman, also making the obscene gesture. Only this go-around, the woman had a shotgun shouldered, the man said.

The woman did not point the gun at the man and did not open fire, according to deputies.

The incident was documented.
