CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Chillicothe City Auditor Kristal Spetnagel announced that her office would be offering extended hours for taxpayers.

According to Spetnagel, the city Auditor’s Office will remain open from 7:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Monday, April 18th.

Regular business hours are from 7:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The Chillicothe City Administration Building will be closed on Friday, April 15th, for “Good Friday”.

The Auditors Office reminds residents that the following individuals are required to file a city tax return.

The following individuals are required to file city returns:

  • Chillicothe City residents with earned income.
  • Anyone who worked in the Chillicothe City limits whose employer did not withhold Chillicothe City taxes during the year.

Those who do not need to file:

  • Retirees with no earned income.
  • Non-Chillicothe residents that work inside the city whose employer withheld City
  • tax.
