CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio— Police in Circleville are investigating a shooting that occurred this evening.
According to initial reports, two vehicles were involved in the incident that occurred along East Franklin Street near South Washington.
The call came in shortly after 5:00 p.m. of shots fired in the area.
Officials said the suspects in one of the vehicles involved were stopped and taken into custody.
Circleville police say four individuals, a 9mm, and ammo were seized from the car.
Authorities say a maroon Cadillac, also involved in the shooting, was last seen in the area of Walmart.
The case remains under investigation, and no further details were immediately released.
