ROSS COUNTY, Ohio— A Ross County man is recovering today after authorities say three men broke into his home and attacked him, leaving the victim with a broken back.
Deputies with the Ross County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a Stone Road mobile home park shortly before 4:30 p.m. Sunday.
A 9-1-1 caller told dispatchers that three men had kicked in the front door of his residence and attacked him.
According to reports, deputies arrived on the scene and found a man suffering from several facial lacerations. EMS was requested to transport the victim to the hospital.
At the hospital, the victim told deputies that the ex-boyfriend of his current girlfriend and two others were responsible for the home invasion.
Doctors at Adena Regional Medical Center discovered that the victim had suffered a spinal fracture as a result of the attack. The man was later transported to Grant Hospital in Columbus.
Law enforcement officials would not release the suspect’s names. According to the official report, a warrant for felonious assault and aggravated burglary were requested.
