CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — According to the Ohio Department of Transportation, the overnight closure of route 23 in Chillicothe would be rescheduled.
ODOT announced Thursday that the work would begin on May 5 instead of April 28.
The overnight bridge repair will begin at 10 p.m. next Thursday.
Traffic during the temporary closure will be rerouted via Bridge Street to route 35 eastbound to route 23 southbound. Route 35 westbound traffic will be reduced to one lane of travel.
ODOT anticipates the repairs to be completed by 4:00 a.m. on Friday, May 6.
