CHILLICOTHE, Ohio— The Chillicothe Police Department is seeking assistance in identifying the human remains found earlier this month behind a local shopping center.
The Guardian broke the story on April 14 of the grisly discovery inside an abandoned homeless encampment behind Hobby Lobby on North Bridge Street.
Police have not confirmed how the person died or if the scene looked suspicious.
Investigators with the Ross County Coroner’s Office hope that the public could ultimately shed light on the identity of the person found.
