WILMINGTON, Ohio — The risk for severe weather returns this week. According to the National Weather Service in Wilmington, much of the Scioto Valley has been placed under a slight risk for severe storms.
Forecasters say showers, and a few strong too severe storms are expected to begin late Tuesday afternoon and may impact your rush hour commute.
Damaging winds and large hail are the primary threats with this system, but meteorologists say a tornado or two cannot be ruled out.
Residents should remain weather aware on Tuesday and have multiple means of receiving warnings should severe weather occur.
