ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — The Ross County Sheriff’s Office responded to a drive-by shooting Tuesday evening near Frankfort.
According to reports, 9-1-1 dispatchers received a call shortly before 10 p.m. on a drive-by shooting in the 1600 block of Bush Mill Road.
Officials say there were no injuries in the incident.
The 9-1-1 caller told investigators that an unknown man and his ex-girlfriend were in a vehicle in front of his residence. That is when, the caller said, he heard his ex-girlfriend’s voice and saw the male driver raise a firearm out the window, firing several shots.
Witnesses say a small black-colored car was driven by the shooter.
Authorities did not release any additional details.
The case remains under investigation. Anyone with information regarding the shooting should contact the Ross County Sheriff’s Office.
