WILMINGTON, Ohio — A Flash Flood Warning has been issued for portions of Fayette and Ross counties until 7:45 p.m.

According to the National Weather Service, 1.5 to 2.5 inches of rain has fallen due to thunderstorms in the area.

Residents in low-lying areas should monitor current conditions and be prepared to take action should flash flooding occur.

Motorists are reminded to never drive through flooded roadways.
