CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Law enforcement in the Chillicothe area is engaged in an active manhunt this afternoon.
Residents across the Chillicothe area took to social media after an aviation unit with the Ohio Highway Patrol was seen circling the city’s west side.
No details have been released at this time, but according to police dispatchers, the area near Lake Ellensmere is the center of the search.
The Chillicothe Police with the Ohio Highway Patrol are involved in the search.
The suspect is described as a white male wearing a blue shirt with blue jeans.
