CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Ohio University will be holding a “Recycling Collection Day” at their Chillicothe campus.

The drop-off will begin at 10 a.m. and will continue until 2 p.m. this Wednesday.

The “Collection Day” is open to the public and is being held by Rural Action.

Items that are permitted for drop-off include clothing & textiles, scrap metal, mattresses & box springs, rechargeable batteries, books, E-waste/TVs, and medical supplies equipment.

Organizers say there will be a $20 fee per flat-screen TV and $40 per tube screen TV.

There will also be a $3 fee per 30-gallon trash bag.

No bulk trash, tires, or prescription drugs will be permitted.

Items can be dropped off during the event in the OUC parking lot.
